Meet the Founder

Lourdes Zarro

Educational Leader · ESE Specialist · Coach · Consultant

With more than 30 years in exceptional student education and over 20 years in educational administration, Lourdes Zarro has devoted her career to helping students with diverse learning needs find opportunities to succeed.

Her experience spans early intervention and preschool through high school, program leadership, inclusive education, staff development, and collaboration with families. She has led student support services in both public and independent school settings and brings experience designing programs, strengthening accommodations, and training educators. She brings both professional expertise and a personal understanding of the challenges families can face when navigating educational support.

Through LZ Coaching & Consulting, Lourdes partners with students, families, and schools to turn complex challenges into thoughtful, achievable plans. Her approach is grounded in respect, compassion, integrity, and a belief that meaningful inclusion creates opportunities for every learner. Her experience includes coaching families in the Dominican Republic. She welcomes partnerships with secular, independent, Christian, and international schools.
